KS Precast Engineering designed this stone strong retaining wall to accordance large concrete pipes (up to 1500mm in diameter) at both ends of the road embankment. This retaining wall has a maximum height of 5.5 meters and is reinforced with geogrid. Design work included cast-in-place concrete collars around the pipes. The design was performed in accordance with the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CHBDC).
